5 weeks after Paige

Went to the doctor today for my 5 week check up, after having baby. I still have to go back in October... I guess he wants me to have a mammogram between now and then.

All in all, we are ok. Paige slept until 4 am, not too bad for a month old baby.

She is beautiful and healthy - as are all my children.

Today is a good day.

Here's hoping it is a good night for my hubby, as well.

Just thought it would be nice to add a photo of our crew.

It is one of few that we have of us all together...

Working full time hours for part-time day care?

Starting a new blog, with my new email address - this is my simple goal for the day.

We just had baby #4, which I am still adjusting to - the whole staying-at-home-with-baby thing.

Me staying home will save us almost $2000 a month and I don't make much more than that, so I guess it makes sense.

I don't have any solid plans past June of this year - I could be out from work, for the summer or the entire school year - I just don't know.

My husband, Bryan, has decided that now is a good time for him to go back to school for his Master's Degree. He enrolled, and was accepted, to Nova Southeastern University for his master's in Public Administration.

It is funny - each time we have a baby, Bryan feels the need to gut and re-do an room in our home. This pregnancy, I wouldn't allow him to do that - really had to stand in the doorway of out guest bathroom and forbid him from gutting it out.

So, I guess, he is satisfying that urge with re-doing his brain and going back to school. This will keep him busy for the next 2 years - he still wants to get his hands on that bathroom!!

I have never, in my life, met someone who can stretch themselves as thin as my husband. He is busy with work, football (refereeing) and now, school is added to the mix.

With four children, under the age of 8, it is necessary for ONE of us to be a constant to these kids. One of us has to keep this house running - I guess that one is me.

But what about if you don't want to be home? I'm stuck... I'd have to work full-time hours to be able to afford part-time daycare for our children - it just doesn't make sense.

Right now, I like being home. I enjoy the fact that I set simple goals for myself and am able to meet them without having to cram everything into a few precious hours at the end of the day - during the hours I call the bewitching hours.

I'm sure I'll log in often, just to talk to myself.
